The artistry of our handmade Chasen (bamboo matcha whisks), is a testament to the meticulous craftsmanship that elevates your matcha experience. Crafted with precision, these whisks symbolise tradition, skill, and the pursuit of perfection. Each Chasen is delicately handcrafted by skilled artisans, utilising carefully selected bamboo for flexibility, resilience, and a smooth finish. The purposeful design features a specific number of tines for achieving the ideal froth, ensuring a lump-free consistency that lets you savour the full flavour and aroma of your matcha. Using a handmade Chasen is a sensory experience, enhancing the ritual of preparing matcha with unique variations that add authenticity to your tea ceremony.

CARE

Prior to each use, soak your Chasen in hot water for a bit to soften the bamboo, enhancing its flexibility during whisking. After each use, ensure thorough cleaning by gently whisking it in a bowl of hot water (avoid using soap and refrain from placing it in the dishwasher). For proper drying, either place it on your Naoshi (whisk holder) or position it upside down to allow adequate air circulation.
